Jesus Back in Focus

       Jesus said, "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on Earth, but a sword.  (Micha 7:6)...For I came to set a man against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law, against her mother-in-law. And a man's enemies shall be they of his own household.)"

Note ~ Firstly, Jesus did come to bring inner peace to our Souls in Spirit, through following His Spiritual Way, that leads to the Heavenly world. But here, Jesus is referring to a social upheaval He will cause, by revealing the new Spiritual Truth and Way, of the Divine Loving Creator. He warns them, this new Truth He is revealing, about the One True Divine Creator, will be like a sword that divides, and causes enmity amongst family members, friends and the entire Jewish community. His Spiritual revelations, about the One True Divine Creator, will be at odds with the Old Testament understanding, of the dualistic God worshipped by the Jews. Some will see the Light, and follow the new Spiritual Way of Jesus, while others will defend the distorted dualistic belief of God, often through violence.

       The Jewish religion and Spiritual beliefs, had a broad common acceptance, amongst all the people. There was a general wholeness, about their overall understanding of God and His ways. The sword of Spiritual Truth that Jesus brings, will break this wholeness of old beliefs apart, by separating the One True Divine Loving Creator, out from the Old Testament dualistic God, the Jewish children believed in. The Jewish children, who believe in this distorted understanding of God, will be disturbed by the Truth that Jesus brings, and may feel threatened, and retaliate with physical violence.

       Judgement, condemning, and violent execution by stoning someone to death, was a part of their distorted beliefs about the Divine Creator. Violence, incited by any belief in The Divine Creator, is the clear proof of being entangled in a distortion, about the One True Loving God of Jesus, and us all. Instead of following Jesus out of the distortion, and joining with Him to become True children, of the Divine Loving Creator, they end up inciting Pontius Pilate to kill Him, on their behalf. For this is the way of the dualistic God they worship. A God of Love, and a God of war, overlayed with the same name. Jesus was only a child of the One True God of Love.

       But the Truth can never be killed, as it lives in all of us through our Souls in Spirit, created by the Divine Loving Creator, and empowered by His Divine Love. We can all choose to become Children of the Divine Loving Creator, by following the Way of Jesus.

       The same sword that Jesus brings to divide, can also make us whole. Jesus brings the Spiritual sword of Truth, wielded by the hand of Divine Love, to destroy all lies and false identities. It is this same sword, that sets us free from the bonds of sin. It overcomes all falseness in children, and if their Souls are touched by this sword, they will be restored in Spirit by its Truth. In this sense, the sword is a healing sword of the Soul in Spirit, that was divided by falsehoods. So, this same sword that divides the many, can make us whole again as individuals.

       The word 'falsehood', is a very appropriate term to use, when we drift away from our True Spiritual identity. We put on a false hood, or ego based identity, to cover our True Spiritual identity. We are living a lie, as to who we really are. We must live out of our Soul in Spirit, empowered by the Divine Love of the Divine Creator, to find our true self.
